Holy Ghost Church – Whitman, MA

For this historic restoration, Senate replicated the original building spires and balustrade destroyed in the hurricane of 1938 and created a welcoming entryway and gathering space to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the church.

The church’s unique architectural features included cast-in-place concrete, ornamental iron railings, and custom entrance door with decorative gold leafing and glazing. Senate’s team utilized new technology and current design methods to reinforce existing bell tower and to add custom molded GFRC spires and balustrade – seamlessly blending the new construction with the original structure.
