Senate Construction awarded the 2021 National AGC Safety Award

The 2021 National AGC Safety Award recognizes construction firms that have work site hazard identification and control procedures in place, active employee participation, safety training and innovative safety programs. This is a competitive award.

Senate Construction was recently presented with the award. “We’re honored to receive the 2021 National AGC Safety Award. Senate Construction Corp. is very proud to have been awarded the AGC of Massachusetts or AGC National 29 times for our impeccable safety record”, said Senate Construction CEO, Bob France. The Association of General Contractors is the largest organization of general contractors in the U.S. The AGC is highly respected in the construction industry. Bob served as Chairman of the Board for the Massachusetts chapter from 2012 – 2013.

We can’t emphasize safety enough. We emphasize it all the time. Everyone should.

In the construction field, there’s always a risk of someone getting hurt. We consistently emphasize that everyone is responsible for their safety and the safety of their co-workers. We are proud of our consistent safety record throughout our 32 years of conducting business.

All our onsite project superintendents are OSHA Certified and trained. They’re our ‘boots on the ground.’ Every construction company is responsible for managing and protecting their employees. Unfortunately, that is not consistent throughout our industry. Our project superintendents are reminded of the importance of keeping everyone safe on our job sites on a weekly basis. Our new recruits in the field are also obligated to be compliant.

Toolbox Talks involve addressing timely safety topics— pointing out any risks in the workplace and safe work practices.

Toolbox Talks are conducted regularly at Senate Construction. They’re led by the project superintendents and conducted with all trades people on site. They address various topics relevant to the current state of construction on that job site. Examples of safety practices include equipment training, proper waste removal, and having a medically trained staff member on site.

We take safety seriously, for our teams, and to minimize our clients’ liability.

At Senate Construction we take safety seriously, as every construction contractor should. We emphasize the importance of job site safety in doing so we minimize our clients’ liability.

It is our top priority that every person that works on our job sites leaves in a healthy condition in order to enjoy their time with their families.

Our design-build services expect to deliver to our clients a premier product and a safe environment. Click here or call us to discuss your next commercial construction project.
